Melt-In-Your-Mouth Frosted Pumpkin Cookies:

The ingredients are 2 cups each of softened butter and granulated sugar, 2 teaspoons each of baking powder and baking soda, a teaspoon each of salt, ground nutmeg and ground cinnamon, 2 eggs, 2 teaspoons of vanilla, a 15-ounce can pumpkin and 4 cups of all-purpose flour.

To make the penuche frosting, heat ½ cup each of brown sugar and butter in a small saucepan until melted and smooth. Transfer to a bowl, stir in ¼ cup milk and a teaspoon of vanilla. Then beat in 2 and 34 cups of powdered sugar.
